Read QR codes from images.

Choose a QR image or screenshot to read and copy its text or link. Decoding runs locally in your browser, free and without sign-up.

Or paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V / Cmd+V. Scanning starts automatically.

Images and camera frames stay on this device. Links open only when you choose.

Result

Choose an image to begin.

How it works

Choose a file, drop an image onto the upload area, or paste a screenshot. The result appears automatically.

For a printed code, choose Camera and press Start camera. Read the result, copy what you need, or open a link after checking its address.

Practical examples

  • Paste a screenshot from an email to read its link without using another device.
  • Read a saved Wi-Fi QR image and copy just the network name or password.
  • Drop a QR photo into the upload area to inspect its text before using it.

How to read the result

  • Web links show the destination domain and full address; Open link opens a new tab only after your click.
  • Wi-Fi results separate the network details and retain the original QR text in an expandable section.
  • Email addresses, phone numbers and other text can be copied without launching another app.

Limits and privacy notes

  • Use one image at a time, up to 20 MB and 40 megapixels; PNG, JPG and WebP are recommended. Other image formats depend on your browser.
  • Blur, glare, cropping and small codes inside large screenshots can prevent recognition. Include the whole code with its white border.
  • Camera scanning needs a secure connection, a compatible browser and your permission. PDF import is not available; use a screenshot of the code.
  • Images, camera frames and decoded contents are processed locally. The app does not record video or request microphone access.
